Writing letters to my friends / telling them all about....

assorted links to bits from my blog.....

The Scavengers, my old buddies and drinking partners-in-punk, reformed in late 2004 at a bar in Auckland's K Road. Whilst I, as a matter of principle, hate reunions, I had to go to this. These were my mates, my comrades and I wrote about it here

my favourite 12" singles, subjective, open to intense dispute and ever growing

Robert Elms, a British style guru with not a lot to say, raised my ire and I felt the need to reply to his rather ill informed and obnoxious attack on the fab four

Sad to see you go go go goodbye...FMR's demise made me sad, although I'm over it now I'm glad to say. I mean, it was just a record company, right?

If one thing annoys me its the ignorant, irrational rantings of right wing Australian journalists, which deserve an irrational rant back.

Toy Love were such a bloody great band and finally their catalalogue is on CD. I wrote this about that

A bunch of thoughts on Indonesia and Singapore

Elvis lives in Candidasa, Bali.

A bit of musing about a few friends of mine, both human, and vinyl, and obsessions

Is it wrong to irrationally hate some recording artists. I would argue its a healthy thing and, indeed, I feel more complete for disliking these wimps
